• DUE (APP OPEN) NOVEMBER 1, 2024 and DUE (FINAL) FEBRUARY 1, 2025 - ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY LICENSE2HOWL SCHOLARSHIPS. License2HOWL Scholarships are available for the 2024-2025 academic year for the incoming freshman at Arkansas State. $5,000 for the year and it is renewable for recipients who continue to meet criteria and re-apply. • DUE NOVEMBER 12, 2024 - ELKS MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP.  Scholarship is based on Academics, Service, Leadership and Financial Need. Up to $50,000 toward your college education. Click here for more information and to apply. 

 

• DUE (PRIORITY) NOVEMBER 15, 2024 and (GENERAL) FEBRUARY 1, 2025 - UNIVERSITY of ARKANSAS, FAYETTEVILLE, SCHOLARSHIPS. Applicants must be planning to attend University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Students will enter their self-reported GPA and ACT score they expect to have by December. Students with a self-reported GPA of 3.8 or higher and an ACT score of 32 or higher will receive the fellowship application, while those with lower credentials will receive a scholarship application. • DUE (PRIORITY) NOVEMBER 15, 2024 and (GENERAL) MARCH 1, 2025 - UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT LITTLE ROCK (UALR) SCHOLARSHIPS. Applicants must be planning to attend University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). UALR is offering half off tuition for incoming freshmen for Fall 2025. Applicants must 1)be a senior in high school; 2)achieve at least a 3.6 GPA in high school college preparatory classes; 3)score a minimum ACT “super score” composite of 32 or a minimum SAT Critical Reading and Math combined “super score” total of 1430; and 4)apply by November 15. • DUE NOVEMBER 15, 2024 - DR. JAMES FLECKENSTEIN SCHOLARSHIP FOR FUTURE MEDICAL DOCTORS. Scholarship amount is $1000 to a single student who plans to attend a university on the road to become a doctor in the US. Award will be based on an essay competition. Click here for more information. 

 

DECEMBER:

• DUE DECEMBER 4, 2025 - National Association of Student Councils (NASC) Scholarship. The National Association of Student Councils Scholarship program recognizes high school juniors and seniors who embody the core tenets of NASC: leadership, service, student voice, and engagement. This year, we are awarding $100,000 to students with a strong record of leadership in their school’s student council—$1,000 to 75 finalists and $5,000 to five national winners. • DUE DECEMBER 13, 2024 - ARKANSAS TECH CREATIVE WRITING SCHOLARSHIP. Six scholarships worth as much as $1,500 will be awarded. These scholarships may be used to pursue any degree program at Arkansas Tech. Click here for more information.

 

• DUE DECEMBER 31, 2024 - GEN AND KELLY TANABE SCHOLARSHIP. The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship is a merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of a higher education. Winners are chosen by committee, which bases its decision primarily on the submitted personal statement. The first place award is a $1,000 scholarship. • DUE DECEMBER 31, 2024 - ARKANSAS SPORTS HALL OF FAME. The ASHOF will award nine $1000 scholarships to deserving student/athlete high school seniors. These scholarships are based on written essays. Click here for more information and how to apply.

 

JANUARY:

 

• DUE JANUARY 9, 2025 - JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP. Minority students with financial need are encouraged to apply. Award is up to $30,000 over 4 years. Click here for more information and to apply.

 

• DUE JANUARY 9, 2025 - NATIONAL FFA SCHOLARSHIPS. The National FFA Organization awards approximately $2 million each year in scholarships designed to fit the diversity of applicants. The selection process takes into account the whole student - FFA involvement, work experience, SAE, community service, leadership skills and academics. Applicants will submit an essay (no more than 1000 words) that describes an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year after John F. • DUE FEBRUARY 1, 2025 - AACTEA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD. The Arkansas Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators (AACTEA) is offering two AACTEA Scholarships to high school seniors to supplement education costs beginning their freshman year. The scholarship awards are $500 each for the first academic year, and will be awarded to full-time or part-time students who enroll in an Arkansas college or university, including junior colleges, community colleges, and vocational or technical colleges. • DUE FEBRUARY 7, 2025 - ARKANSAS ASSOCIATION OF CONSERVATION DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIP. Up to $1000 to be awarded to the winning applicant. Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle. This scholarship is a one-time award for Arkansans with disabilities who are seeking higher education and/or vocational training. • DUE MARCH 1, 2025 - ARKANSAS SCHOOL BOARD ASSOCIATION EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROGRAM. Scholarship awarded to benefit the sons/daughters/legal wards of ASBA-affiliated Arkansas school board members who will be entering two-year or four-year Arkansas institutions of higher education. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen attending post-high school, undergraduate, and career technical education programs. The American Meteorological Society (AMS) administers an array of scholarships for undergraduates and minority students interested in atmospheric and related sciences. Arkansas 11th and 12th grade students are invited to write a 1500-word (minimum) essay on a prompted topic. Choose from one of three topics. • DUE APRIL 1, 2025 - ARKANSAS ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT FINANCIAL AID ADMINISTRATORS SCHOLARSHIP. Any student applying for college in the state of Arkansas should complete this application. The Arkansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA) will award at least two $500 scholarships to Arkansas students planning to attend member institutions.  These are non-renewable awards. • DUE APRIL 1, 2025 - AAA CENTENNIAL BANK SCHOLARSHIP. Centennial Bank will provide a total of 10 annual $1,000 scholarships to qualifying high school seniors. • DUE APRIL 4, 2025 - AREA (Arkansas Rural Ed. Association) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SCHOOL/COOP EMPLOYEE’S CHILDREN OR NOMINATED APPLICANT BY PARTICIPATING SCHOOL DISTRICTS. Each applicant must be a child of a school/co-op employee OR nominated by the school district to be eligible. The National Wood Flooring Association Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship is designed to promote the post-secondary study of forestry and related forestry sciences. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who will study forestry in an effort to advance and improve forestry practices for generations to come. • DUE APRIL 1, 2025 - R. PRESTON WOODRUFF, JR. SCHOLARSHIP. The Arkansas Student Loan Authority awards a minimum of twenty $1,000 scholarships each year to seniors and current college students in Arkansas.  Each year, one of the scholarships drawn will be renewable for up to four years. • DUE APRIL 1, 2025 - LOCKHEED MARTIN STEM SCHOLARSHIP. 200 scholarships of $10,000 per student will be awarded. This scholarship is available to students studying engineering or computer science that demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities. • DUE APRIL 2, 2025 - CARL TAPP TECHNICIAN SCHOLARSHIP. Applicants must be graduating seniors from accredited high schools. Scholarships will be awarded for students attending a two-semester (30 hour minimum) medium and heavy duty truck technician program at an Arkansas institution. Click here for more information. 

 

• DUE APRIL 4, 2025 - THE ANNE FORD SCHOLARSHIP (NATIONAL CENTER FOR LEARNING DISABILITIES). The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500/year over 4 years) granted to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability (LD) and/or ADHD who will be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in the fall. • DUE APRIL 5, 2025 - NEWTON PENS SCHOLARSHIP. Scholarship award size will vary. Scholarships are for high school students going into college, trade, barber, beauty, welding, or any technical school. Click here for more information.

 

• DUE APRIL 15, 2025 - JEREMY SCHULMAN SCHOLARSHIP FOR FIRST GENERATION AMERICANS. This scholarship will award $1000 to an applicant who plans to attend a university. The winner will be selected based on an essay competition of less than 1000 words. Click here for more information.

 

• DUE APRIL 15, 2025 - NATIONAL BIRD DOG MUSEUM’S SCHOLARSHIP. The National Bird Dog Museum’s Annual Scholarship Essay Contest for 2025 is approaching. The deadline each year is April 15th. This contest is open to any and all students who reside or attend school in the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, and/or Tennessee who are seniors in high school. If a student does not reside or attend school within one of these three states, he/she must have some form of affiliation with either Ames Plantation or the National Bird Dog Museum. Up to $12,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. • DUE MAY 1, 2025 - VIETNAM VETERAN ORGANIZATION, TAN SON NHUT ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP.  Two scholarships in the amount of $5000 each will be given to high school seniors who are direct descendants of one who served in Vietnam and who plan to continue their education at any accredited college or university in the fall of 2025.  Click here for more information and to apply.

Textbook brokers will be awarding FOUR students a full textbook rental scholarship, which will cover the full cost of all Fall 2025 required learning materials (textbooks, lab manuals, calculators, access codes, scantrons, more if required for the course.)
