ππParents and Community Announcementπ¦β₯οΈπ¦
We are always looking to make our campus, buildings and students safer. Part of the Learns Act is the S on Security. We are enhancing and/or adding a few security measures. We want our parents to know we welcome you, but we have the following security procedures that will be followed.
β₯οΈ1. The outside gates will be closed at 8 oβclock. Parents who arrive after eight, need to park in the Visitors' Parking Lot and walk in through the Visitors' Gate. The gates will be closed until as close to 3:00 as possible. We have classes that are out until 3:00.
β₯οΈ2. We remind you that if students are on the playground, please do Not drive through them.
β₯οΈ3. All visitors should enter the Main Office Door ONLY. If a visitor is at any door other than the Main Office Door, they will be directed to the Visitor's Gate and to the Main Office. β₯οΈVisitors will not be let in the other doors. This includes the morning drop off. β₯οΈOnly Self Contained Students at the back door.
β₯οΈ4. Only adults open the outside doors. Students have been instructed and should NOT open doors.
β₯οΈ5.. ALL visitors should sign in the Office.
β₯οΈ6. All parents and visitors in the hallway should have a visitors' badge at all times
β₯οΈ7. All Doors Are LOCKED. Remember, the number one security defense is a locked door.
β₯οΈ8. Also, our SRO and other un-uniformed officers will be on our campuses more often.
π¦β₯οΈπ¦Thanks for helping keep our students as safe as possible.

Every 3-4 years, we take a trip to Mount Harbor with our 4-6 grades to Celebrate Freedom Week, Servicemen, and Patriots.
πΊπΈMountain Harbor Staff prepared an educational morning for us from the Fire House and Equipment to the Fire and Rescue Boats to the Military Museum to a windy view of the beautiful Lake Ouachita to even an unexpected side visit to the Horse Riding Stables.
πΊπΈβ₯οΈThank You Mr. βJust Billβ Barns and the Mountain Harbor Crews for your hospitality and pouring into the next generation.
πΊπΈβ₯οΈThank you Mrs. Callie. VanHorn
